Jacqueline von Arb is responsible for the daily operations of the Norwegian Institute of Recorded Sound, the organization of collaborations with other institutions and representering the Institute and its interests in national and international organizations and conferences.

The music librarian is responsible for the organizing and cataloging the collections, promoting the use of the collection through exhibitions and lectures, assisting patrons of the Institute and answering questions from the public.

Per Dahl is a musicologist at the University of Oslo, with offices at the Norwegian Institute of Recorded Sound. He also holds a position as an academic consultant at the Institute and is responsible for much of the Institute's educational programs. In addition, he assists with musical expertise related to the management of the collection.

Dag Trygve Baraldsnæs-Henriksen worked as a music librarian at the Norwegian Institute of Recorded Sound from 2006 to 2009. After this, he has written academic articles for the Institute's website on remote basis. Today, he is Director of Archive at the Church of Norway’s National Council.
Odd-Jan Jonassen has expertise on Tandberg tape players, repairs equipment, and provides advice about analog sound recording technology
